About Us
Toronto Designer, Mary-Ann Kowala worked for many years in the shrinking local fashion industry. Totally disenchanted with how fast fashion had taken over, creating unnecessary waste, Mary-Ann made the decision to do things a little differently. Slowing things down, she found her niche using quality sustainable fabrics, sewn in small batches locally in Toronto, Canada. Most styles are season-less and to keep things young and fresh, she enlisted the keen eye of her minimalist daughter, Alana, as her muse.
All the items are available at her studio boutique, Chartreuse Style at 1692 Queen St. W. in Toronto.
